Sesame Jaggery balls (Tilgur)

 


Ingredients:

  • 250g Jaggery
  • 1 tablespoon Desi Ghee
  • 50g Sesame seeds
  • 100g Peanuts

 

Procedure:

  1.      Take a pan, put the jaggery in it. Heat it well so that the jaggery melts.
  2.      Put the ghee and stir till the lumps mixes well.
  3.      While the jaggery melts, use another pan to roast the peanuts and sesame seeds.
  4.      Crush the roasted peanuts and sesame finely. After that, put those into the melted jaggery and       mix it well.
  5.      Keep the mixture hot and make balls with it while it's still hot. If you let it cool down it may         not form proper balls.
  6.      Let the balls cool down and enjoy them fresh and tasty.
