Masala Chikki Sandwich 


Hola amigos! I hope you are doing well and everybody around you is safe and healthy. We have often encountered a craving to eat something tasty that is easy to make and takes little time. But a dearth of ingredients makes unhappy and leaves us irritated. But worry not. We are here solve your trouble as our chefnovator has created a special dish that is delicious, healthy and takes little time. 

Today, we will be making the Masala Chikki Sandwich. 

So without wasting anymore time, let’s jump in. 

Ingredients : Chanas/Chickpeas (soaked), Bread, Ginger, Garlic, Tomato Puree, Mayonnaise, Paneer(finely chopped), Mixed Vegetables (Chopped) 

 Procedure : 
• Soak some chanas/chickpeas (black or white) overnight in a bowl containing water. 

• Afterwards, pressure cook the chanas/chickpeas for 3-5 whistles till they become soft. 

• Pour some oil into a pan and lightly fry some ginger and garlic. 

• Roast the boiled chanas/chickpeas for few minutes. 

• Make a paste-like filling made up of the fried ginger and garlic with the roasted chanas/chickpeas. 

• For the spread, pour some tomato puree into the bowl; if you have leftover veggies or paneer, you can add them as well. Mix them with the paste-like filling and mayonnaise. 
  


• Apply the spread into the bread. 

• Serve the slices with some chutney. And savour this delish dish!
